“Wow, this is great!” Those were the words I heard when I showed the staff at The Crossing the proof copy of the Sticky Sermons Notebook. Nothing like it is available for purchase (that I know of) and I’ve done plenty of searching.
The Sticky Sermons Notebook was designed to make you more efficient at sermon prep so you can do more ministry. Just imagine being able to get the prep work, outline work, and future series planning work done in one place. Imagine being able to follow a framework that will not only help you get your sermon done faster and easier but a framework that will also help your sermon stick with your congregation.
Coming Soon Now Available: Sticky Sermons Notebook
We have taken the principles we laid out in the preparation and writing sections of Preaching Sticky Sermons and built a resource that you can use every day in your ministry.
Four Elements to Better Sermon Prep and Planning
Sticky Sermons Notebook is made up of four elements that will make your sermon prep easier and more efficient.
Element 1 = Table of Contents. All your sermons for the entire year, in one place. Many of us probably use a spreadsheet to have this all laid out, but now you can have it in the same place you’ll do your prep work so you can better connect each week to another and be even more intentional regarding the content God is presenting through you to your congregation.
Element 2 = Customizable Notes Page. We all have our own brainstorming methods and scratch note methods. For each sermon in the year, you’ll get a full page of space to examine the passage, throw around ideas, draw a mind map, or whatever else you do in the prep stage.
Element 3 = Sticky Sermons Framework Outline Page. Outlining is where the rubber meets the road. You can plug in the holes of your message here, identify the key elements of each section, and organize your sermon in a way that will stick with your congregation. This will help you streamline your content and save you a ton of time.
Element 4 = Sermon Series Planning Page. We’ve included twelve of these so you can lay out the big idea for your series and the main elements for each message in the series. If you want to do away with loosely connected sermons within your sermon series, this will help you ensure that your next series is intentional, connected, and pointed in the right direction.
Sticky Sermons Notebook is now available! We are so excited because we believe this will help you enjoy sermon prep more than you ever have before.
