Dwell: A Great New Resource Coming in 2018

If you are like me you are always looking for the best new things to help you with your work, productivity, or just your life and the life of the people you lead.

Something I have been following for awhile now is the Dwell Scripture Listening App

Dwell is going to be an app (Coming June 2018) that lets you listen to the Scriptures in a compelling way. This is big for me! I love podcasts, I love audio books, but there’s no great way to listen to Scripture. The apps that currently let you do it are just a voice reading the text with no additional production.

The production of Dwell is great though. Seriously hit up the link and go listen to some samples. The voices are expert and great, the background music is excellent. This app is really shaping up to be something special. (I have not been asked to promote this app or anything: I just really believe in it.)

There is going to be listening plans, groupings by story, or just traditional browsing.

As a pastor and leader I see the need to have this kind of technology not only in my life but in the lives of the people I lead. Just think of the life change that could be spurred on if someone who has no Bible reading habit can instead develop a Bible listening habit. This app, I believe, is truly going to be a game changer.

Check out the Kickstarter here and if you like what you see back the project!
