One year ago, Joe and I launched this website with the first post. Since then we’ve seen continued growth in terms of traffic, reach, and impact. As pastors ourselves, we felt that there was a need to be filled to help others preach and lead better. It turns out, we were right.
We’re so thankful for you – our community who reads, shares, and comments on what is produced here. The future holds a lot of great anticipation for the new resources we plan on creating. In the next couple of months we’ll have a BIG announcement to share with you all that we’ve been working on for months now.
Happy 1st Birthday to RookiePreacher.com
If you’re interested, below I’ll give you a breakdown of the growth of the site and what resonated most with people like you – pastors who want to preach and lead better.
Website Stats
From the start, Joe and I (as well as our great team of contributors) felt that we could both create consistent content each week. With a few exceptions, we’ve done that! And it has provided a steady stream of insight on preaching and leadership. Below are some basic stats regarding the site:
- 191 posts were written and published
- 66,263 pageviews
Social Reach
We started with a simple strategy – a Twitter account and email. Since then, we started a Facebook group, and most recently, a Facebook page.
- 1,110 email subscribers
- 504 Twitter followers
- 211 members of our private Facebook group
- 50 likes on our Facebook page
If you aren’t already connected with us in some way, I highly recommend you join our email list because of the free resources we give away to those who subscribe. We currently offer 3 – 56 Weeks of Preaching Topics, and 2 Evernote Templates – Weekly Productivity Template, and Sermon Series Planning Template. We’re always thinking of new resources we can create and give to you for free, so join today!

Reach on Top Ministry Sites
We’ve been blessed with the privilege to have many of our posts here (Joe and me both) be reposted on sites like ChurchLeaders and SermonCentral. Additionally, we’ve been blown away with the generosity by people who share our posts on their top posts of the week style of posts. Brian Dodd has featured us on his many times. Thanks, Brian! Be sure to check out his site for great leadership insight.
